Using the Marina







The Viaduct Marina is a fully serviced marina, offering a high standard of amenities and attention to detail to make your stay an enjoyable one. Here are some of the questions that we freqently get asked. 

 

 

What types of berths can you provide? 

As well as floating pontoons and fingers, we can offer side-to berths and behind vessel parking if required. 

 

Are you a customs controlled facility? 

The Viaduct Marina is an approved customs controlled facility - this means that we can be your first port of call when you arrive in New Zealand. 

 

Can I plug into your shore power? 

We can cater for these power types: 125 Amp 3 phase, 63 Amp 3 phase, 32 Amp 3 phase, 32 Amp Single and 16 Amp single

 

What are the boating services you have on-site? 

Facilities for mast stepping, vessel fuelling, fresh water, and sewerage pump-out at each berth. We also have fresh drinking water available at berths. 

 

Can my crew or I live aboard my boat?

Yes you can - we are fully equipped for people to live aboard their boats. 

 

Is my boat secure?

We have video surveillance and 24/7 security patrols. We have a very good safety record for vessels. 

 

Do you provide carparking?

Yes, each berth receives two complimentary carparks within marina grounds. 

 

What maintenance can we do at our berths?

Please download our maintenance guidelines, or ask for a copy at the office. 

 

How can I pay for my berth?

We accept Visa and Mastercard, and EFTPOS, cash and cheques. For convenience, you can pay invoices online, or setup monthly payments

 

What other services do you provide?

Our customers can use our high speed wi-fi connection at no extra charge, and we can assist with mail and photocopying. 

 

What marine services are available at the Viaduct Marina?

We have a wide range of suppliers that are registered to work at the marina. This includes cabinet making, marine electrical and electronic, high level refits and repairs, marine engineering, provisioning and painting, rigging, and sail making.
